PLATO will organise an Award Ceremony for the 15 Early Stage Researchers who have successfully completed its 3-year intensive research and training programme.

The project's concluding event was planned for 4 December 2020, but has been postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic and restrictions on international travel.
PLATO's award ceremony will bring together the 15 PhD researchers and their supervisors for a ceremony at the University of Oslo. The event marks the end of the 3-year long research and training programme they have taken part in as PLATO Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellows. It will also include social activities during the weekend and allow the ESRs to set up an alumni network.

The ESRs are affiliated with nine different partner universities and will submit and defend their PhD thesis as part of their programme of enrolment. The individual public defences will be announced by PLATO.
