The project's concluding event was planned for 4 December 2020, but was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic and restrictions on international travel.
Concluding event
PLATO's award ceremony will bring together the 15 PhD researchers and their supervisors for a ceremony in Antwerpen and online. The event marks the end of the 3-year long research and training programme they have taken part in as PLATO Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellows. It will also include social activities during the weekend and allow the ESRs to set up an alumni network.

Marit will offer some last words and we will conclude the ceremony with an online toast!
PhD defence
The ESRs are affiliated with nine different partner universities and will submit and defend their PhD thesis as part of their programme of enrolment. The individual public defences will be announced by PLATO.
