Data management and sharing (TM6-4)

ESRs must handle research data correctly and in line with rules and practices for research data management and sharing. We revisit PLATO’s Data Management Plan (DMP) and ESRs elaborate their dataset descriptions with hands-on support.

Purpose and outline

This is a hands-on workshop where ESRs bring their draft dataset descriptions and a laptop.

Lyan Kamphuis-Blikman and Marit Eldholm provide research support on data management, privacy and GDPR questions, and will go through the common mistakes and misunderstandings from the ESRs' questions and outlines so far.

The session will allow ESRs to establish good routines for data management and sharing, consider solutions for archiving and sharing of their own data, and to revise and update their own data management plans/dataset descriptions.
